Google+ Updated for iPad with new look, community controls & Photo Editing Features

Google seems to be determined with their Google+ app for iPad. Ever since the first launch of the iPad optimized version of their social network, the entire Google+ team worked hard to improve the overall experience of the user. With every update they added small little improvements but nothing beats the major upgrade to their latest version 4.3.0. This is a brand new Google+ with tons of new features like photo editing, community controls and a brand new brand identity.

If you haven’t upgraded already I highly suggest that you go to your App Store Update section and do it right now. You will love this new look. For starters, Google merged the famous Snapseed photo editing app with their in-built photo enhancement options. This means you can now create some cool Instagram like effects for all your pictures whether it’s in your albums or you are simply uploading new ones. The notification panel is shifted on the top right hand corner much like our usual desktop version. When you launch Google+ right after the version 4.3.0 update, you will see a new launch screen that looks pretty colorful.

New Google Plus Photo Filters

A few months ago Google+ Communities look off to combat Facebook Groups. If you are a community moderator then you would be happy to know that you can moderate your users right from the iPad app. This critical feature was missing in previous versions and looks like Google finally fixed it with some easy to remember controls. I also heard that they changed the entire layout for a brand new user registration. Unfortunately, I didn’t have the time to check the entire process since I am already registered. Now that I explained most of the important features in the latest Google+ iPad app update it’s time to list all of them from their official app page description.

New Features of Google+ iOS Version 4.3.0
